Just in front of Maya Luna stretches a beautiful reef
inhabited by a great variety of coral, sponges and hundreds of different kinds
of tropical fish. A true snorkellers paradise.
Maximum depth of the clear water before the reef is 3 meters. You can choose
to swim there (15 minutes) or take Maya Luna's rubber boat.
Behind the reef in front of the hotel you will find lots of beatiful diving
places, from 3 to 60 meters deep. And of course further on Chinchorro
Reef.
In Mahahual there are several dive shops where you can rent all equipment.
You can get your PADI in a few days.
