The ruins of Chacchoben ("red corn") are located at only 65 kilometers from hotel Maya Luna. The site was only recently excavated and not crowded by mass tourism. On the contrary, most of the days you will find yourself there wandering alone.

The setting is gorgeous.

excavated, leaving big residential and
ceremonial groupings to be discovered.
